Welcome to Mt. Olive Baptist Church of East Orange, New Jersey. The church where we love, care, and share; and where the Spirit of God is ever flowing. We've adopted the attitude of the New Testament church at Thessalonica in 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 – Hence our Church Theme: “A Church That Matters”. We trust God, we serve God, and we witness for God! Mount Olive Baptist Church is definitely the church with the down home spirit! What I like most is that you always feel at home. I have met a lot of people that have helped influence me to be a better person.

I've been a member of Mount Olive for about a decade and during these years I've come to understand what it means to worship and love unconditionally. Pastor Jordan saw things in me that I didn't see in myself and as a result I was moved beyond my comfort zone while discovering other gifts that God had placed within me for the benefit of the body of Christ. I love and cherish my Mount Olive family!

I must say Mount Olive is a place where a true worship experience happens! The preaching and teaching is guaranteed to be life changing. I can say MOBC is God’s church, a loving church rooted and graved in the word of God!
